They've been offering unique products in the city for 40 years, so Calgary's Keshmiri family has certainly earned a right to celebrate. And celebrate they did at the House of Persian Rugs 40th Anniversary bash.
The family company has certainly left its mark on the city's business scene, and they showed why at their anniversary party. Persian cuisine and musicians entertained the crowd at Artists of the World gallery, while partygoers admired artistic carpets and took in a demonstration by a master carpet weaver.
While the event was about looking back, the party reminded people that there is plenty of life left in the company.
